by ICE Series Tournament Directors
Dennis Steele and Paul Waldowski
Being an Ice Leader has one demanding requirement. "You
must be willing to take on exciting new challenges to improve
your ice fishing ability".
An Ice Leaders outlook is positive with a willingness to
learn no matter what level of skill you possess, from novice
to expert. Ice Leaders also enjoy getting together for a
little fun, sharing of information, and breaking bread with
each other.
They are a rapidly growing community of ice anglers who experience
the "Leading Edge" of ice fishing fun. Many new
friends are being made and new fishing locations and tactics
are being revealed between these new friends.
They are Ice Leaders and we want you to also be an Ice Leader.
A full-fledged member of the Ice Leader's community. With
that in mind...
We are excited about the 4th Annual ICE Series scheduled
for the upcoming ice fishing season.
What is the ICE Series?
They are cash & equipment prize multi-species tournaments followed by, a social

Ice Fishing World Champion. Our two main events are listed
below. There will also be several informal IceLeaders gatherings
that will also include an IceLeaders Challenge EventTM
The two main events are scheduled on some of the top ice
fishing destinations in the world.
We will meet at the headquarters on Saturday at 7 am to go
over preliminaries and get out to the on ice rendezvous.
The contests will start on the lake at 8 am and we'll meet
back at the rendezvous point at 2 pm for the festivities
and more ice fishing fun.

of the event must submit to a lie detector test.
All fish scored at official event site will be scored
by the official scorers.
All disputes will be settled by The official scorer
and alternate official. Their decision is final. Please

Leading Edge Fun
by Rick Paquin
IceLeaders Challenge Events are one of the best ways to improve your ice fishing
success.

In any activity there are those who love to be on the leading edge. They want
to learn more and go further. That new tactic, fishing tool, or strategy
is what keeps them ahead of the masses and consistently catching fish.
Being one of these anglers normally involves being around some of the best
ice anglers out there. Some of the best ice anglers you'll ever meet are Ice
Leaders Challenge Event participants and Pro Staff.
Brainstorming and sharing the ice fishing strategies and tactics is what leads
to new ideas. You, in effect, become the first to use these new ideas and reap
the rewards before the mainstream finds out and gets on board.
We want to share these ideas of course, because that is what leads to more
new ideas that increase the fun. Becoming a part of this fun event series puts
you at the front of the pack when it comes to ice fishing.
There are on ice seminars, demonstrations, and you actually get to use some
of the new items. These activities are scheduled after the contest.
Contest Hours: 8 am to 2 pm on Saturday. Weigh-ins, sponsor prize drawings,
social hour, product testing, and group fishing after the contest.
Expert anglers who can show you how to use the equipment that will improve your ice fishing fun conduct these demonstrations and classes. In the afternoon
after the contest you can join the other anglers and find out what worked and
why. See the actual equipment demonstrated and try it out yourself. Get prepared
for some food and fun, as we socialize and do some actual on ice fishing together.
We're all about bringing Ice anglers closer together as a community and having
some fun. Bring your wives, children, or friends to join in on the fun. They
too can enjoy the surroundings at these events. Bring them in and expand their
horizons as well. You might be pleasantly surprised at how much they enjoy it.
It's time you got on the leading edge of excitement and fun. Whether you are
novice or expert, this is the I.C.E. Series for you. Be one of the first to get
in on these leading edge events. Who knows, you may end up bringing home the
Ice Fishing World Championship during the ICE Series.
